Small is good in Corvallis
The Corvallis Gazette-Times gives some well-deserved attention to the hometown Oregon Trail Brewery.
Oregon Trail produces 1% the amount of beer that Rogue Ales ships, but will soon celebrate its 20th anniversary.
“I just want to supply beer to the local market,” said (Dave) Wills, the president, largest shareholder and self-described “managing instigator” of Corvallis’ only brewery.
Corvallis has a number of places worth visiting, including the Old World Deli that houses the brewery, but we’d suggest having a pint of Oregon Trail beer in the venerable Squirrel’s Tavern. And some pierogies or deviled eggs if they still sell them.
