After two consecutive years of solid growth in sales of beers from small-batch breweries - compared to almost no growth by larger breweries - newspapers seem to be warming again to the idea of writing about local breweries. Two more examples:

Your Guinness/St. Patrick’s Day fact of the day:
Diageo (the corporation that owns Guinness) estimates that Americans down 217 million pints of Guinness each year, 25% of that in the four weeks leading up to St. Patrick’s Day on March 17.
