It doesn’t suck anymore
The East Bay newspapers in Rhode Island are excited about the return of the Narraganset beer brand:
Now the beer is back, and people are drinking it for one simple reason:
“It doesn’t suck anymore.”
Right now the beer is still contract brewed, but Mark Hellendrung has said he hopes to return brewing to Providence - although it will be a small brewery with much of the beer still brewed under contract at High Falls Brewery. He insists this is not a get-rich-quick scheme.
“I’m more interested in the heritage,” he said. “People are more and more, every day, looking to get in touch with their history.”

this beer is excellent. it tastes pure. it is a classic.
