Happy birthday, Fat Tire
Fat Tire Amber Ale from New Belgium Brewing Co. celebrates its 20th birthday today (do beer’s have birthdays? what’s an appropirate present?).
Jeff Lebesch and Kim Jordan didn’t officially open New Belgium Brewing until 1991, but Jeff’s first effort at the beer - inspired and named for a bike trip through Belgium - rolled out of the basement (then home) brewery on Sept. 28, 1985.
