CNN Money investigates how higher gas prices might affect beer sales.

Second, higher gas prices cut into consumers’ disposable incomes.

On the sales volume side, gas is a big problem for Anheuser-Busch, which has a 60% share in the convenience store sector, the story points out. “Convenience stores typically attract lower income consumers, and these people are hardest hit by the increase in gas prices,” said one analyst.
