Austin’s Bitter End burns
A fire in Austin, Texas, shut down the city’s oldest remaining brewpub, The Bitter End. The popular restaurant developed a reputation in recent years for its Belgian-inspired sout beers. It’s not yet clear what the status of the brewery is after the fire. The story notes, “Part of the restaurant’s roof collapsed over the kitchen and the brewery.”
