Scottish smoking ban
A blanket ban on smoking in public places in Scotland goes into effect March 26 (next year). The ban, which outlaws smoking in all pubs, bars and restaurants, is stricter than the proposal in England which will currently see non-food pubs and private members’ clubs given exemptions.
